The 2020 has been cancelled. Please consider participating in the October Fall Sweep 2020 Cleanup created for safety during COVID-19. Information is posted on Environmental Service News at https://www.mansfieldtexas.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=312. We hope you will join us!
Save on stress and pick up your group's or your individual trash bash supplies early. You can grab your cleanup binder and supplies on Friday, October 11, 2019, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center, 620 S. Wisteria Street.
The most important thing is a smiling happy face and a can-do attitude. Other than that you should bring the cleanup supplies we provided which includes trash bags and gloves. If you're a trash-bash professional and want to bring your own supplies such as trash grabbers or heavy duty gloves we encourage you to do so! We do recommend wearing close-toed shoes, jeans/long pants, and wearing sunscreen and bug spray.
We want to say "thank you" to all of our wonderful volunteers by providing you with a free commemorative t-shirt. If you do not register before the deadline we apologize but the t-shirt order has been placed and we will not have any extra t-shirts available.
As we all know, Texas weather can be unpredictable. The Creekside Cleanup is a rain or shine event except in the case of severe weather. You can check the City of Mansfield Facebook Page for day-of updates if weather becomes an issue. We will also post changes due to weather at https://www.creeksidecleanup.com/.
After you're done picking up trash, cleanup participants receive free access to the GAC (Great American Cleanup) After Party at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center, 620 S. Wisteria. The party will include free food and drinks and door prizes!
